Rhea and Zooie are one of the sweetest couples I had the honor of working with. They both are from the Los Angeles area and decided to celebrate their union in our beautiful city of San Diego.

The couple got ready at a nearby hotel and we headed to the North Chapel and Admiral Kidd to spend the rest of their day celebrating.

Gianne and Brian were referred to me by someone we mutually know. Upon our first emails to each other, we clicked right away. She and Brian have been together for years and recently got engaged. She immediately told me their vision of their day and why they tied personal touches to their wedding. As San Diego natives and their love for their city, they selected June 19th as their wedding date (which is 6.19, one of San Diego’s area codes). Their invitation suite (designed by Gianne herself) really showcases this too. I love how they shared with me the love and admiration for our city.

With that being said, they opted to have photos of the San Diego skyline for their session and we headed over to Seaport Village as the sun began to set.

A shout out to Gercy (for her hairstyling skills) and Jerelyn Rox (the awesome makeup artist) for making Gianne even more gorgeous for the session!

Every wedding I photograph is very special and Becca and AJ’s is dear to my heart. I met Becca many (I mean many) years ago during middle school and when she contacted me to photograph her wedding, I was extremely thrilled! Not only because I was shooting her wedding, but because I knew I would get to see some old friends.

It was an extremely hot day in Fallbrook during their wedding, but the two kept cool, calm and they were so fun to hang out with. The two are so laid back that you can easily tell by their distinct personal styles from their wardrobe to their wedding details. With a lush of beautiful fall colors and classic details, you just knew that things were going to be hit.

Ready to see more?

I love when people are just made for each other and after spending my Sunday afternoon with these two, I immediately knew they were destined for one another. Divina and Ernest are super sweet and so laid-back that it made our session together even more fun! I felt like I was hanging out with two friends; Divina is a coffee lover (like I am) and Ernest is a Chargers fan (like I am)! What a match for us, right?

Sad to say that the Chargers lost this day (together we caught the last few minutes of the game)… along with the other Charger fans at a nearby bar, Ernest and I were sulking. BUUUT, their e-sesh made things so much better! I can’t wait for their wedding next year.
